F.C. Bracknell was originally founded in 1977 and those same founding members
were still with the club celebrating 25 years in 2002.
Teams covering a range of twelve age groups are organised by the club with each age group fielding 1 or more squads. Most players rise through the ranks from the very successfully run "Soccer School". This vital component of the club gradually introduces children as young as four/five to the game by creating a fun and enjoyable environment for them to learn.
The club is affiliated to:
-
The Berks & Bucks F. A.
-
The Bracknell Town & District Sunday Football League.
-
The Bracknell & District Boys Football League.
-
The East Berks Junior 7-a-side Association.
In the ongoing quest to provide the very best facilities for all ages F.C. Bracknell has registered the "Soccer School" with English Football Association and requires all Managers and Coaching Staff to work towards achieving F. A. coaching qualifications.
Currently the club enjoys a membership list of around 250 boys and girls thus making it one of the best supported clubs in the area.
Their achievements have produced results that are the envy of many and a pride to everyone associated with F.C. Bracknell.
