It was top vs bottom as the Youth looked to maintain their 100% winning start to the season.

We started slowly and Southcote were giving a good account of themselves, but couldn't breach our solid defence. It was quite lethargic for the first 25 minutes and very frustrating for us coaches! We finally made a breakthrough on 26 minutes, Roshan played a good through ball to Leo who put his first away. The boys kicked into gear and the second followed shortly. On the left hand side of the box, Nathan skinned a defender and smashed the ball bottom right.

The second half was one-way traffic. Kyle got his first, from a great pass by Kenny. Minutes later, after good work by Taylor on the right, Leo took a shot, the keeper spilled and Kyle doubled up with a tap in. Leo then got his second, winning the ball and finishing well - all his own work.

Kenny then added a goal to his earlier assist, the ball fell to him at the edge of the box and he sweep it top right first time. Another great goal to this seasons collection. He then turned provider for Mack to make it seven.

Kenny was awarded man of the match, he made a real difference in the second half. His all-round play was excellent on top of his goal and assists.

6 games, 6 wins, 28 for and 3 against. The numbers reflect how well we're playing. The defence and goalkeeper give nothing away and the goals are being shared out across the team, everything is going right at the moment. There will be tougher tests ahead but we're ready for them!
